~~Why choose a Low Cost Holiday to Majorca?
There is around 550km of coastline, with sandy beaches and clear seas, about 40% of the Island is protected nature reserve, yet it’s capital Palma has Bellver Castle, a Cathedral, the Almudaina palace, tree lined avenues, exclusive boutiques, a buzzy night life and is ideal for a City Break or a longer stay. The First Choice for singles and families, couples and groups, the Island offers everything from a beach holiday, to walking tours, a promenade, sea food, restaurants, bars, clubs and cafe’s. Water sports are available, you can meet the dolphins at Marineland, sniff the flowers at Jumaica National Park, pick a beach, there are plenty to choose from, or visit the weekly market and grab a bargain. Go Compare our prices, a Cheap Deal it may be, but, you will have a quality holiday here.
The warm shallow waters of Alcudia bay make this an ideal spot for families and those wishing to laze the day away, plus the fact that on this beach you are never far away from a cafe or bar, offering a meal, drink or snacks. The town is an old Roman town and has the ruins to prove it! It also has a lovely modern marina with upmarket restaurants. In the Town Centre, there are alleyways and squares, churches and cafes, ideal to wander around, stopping off for a refreshing drink before wandering some more. This resort is on the Northern end of the Island.
CALLAS DE MALLORCA
On the East coast of the Island, Callas De Mallorca is an elevated resort, with three sandy coves, crystal blue water (although, you would need to watch out for the strong current.) Panoramic views over the sea from the hotels and bars, this resort is a quieter one and some would say all the better for that. A selection of shops, tapas bars and restaurants are on the sea front and make the perfect place to settle for the evening. This area is great for a romantic break.
At the western end of Palma bay, Magaluf is a buzzy resort, with bars and restaurants plus clubs for those who wish to dance the night away. By day, families and clubbers alike can enjoy the shallow sheltered waters, sandy beaches, snorkelling, water sports and pedallos. With dolphin shows, go karting, shopping and a visit to the water park, the days will just whizz past. Offering a very lively night life as well, this resort is good for families, singles and the young at heart.
A great family favourite, set on the south west coast, the resort is established and close to the lively resort of Magaluf, yet far away enough to have a more relaxed atmosphere. There is a lovely sea front promenade, a beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants galore, offering fast food, international cuisine and local delicious dishes. This resort is great for relaxing On The Beach and eating an Ice Lolly, whilst watching the children play.
