Luton is the latest airport to record a rise in passenger numbers in February with a 14.4% increase.
This follows a record breaking year in 2014 and marks 11 months of consecutive growth.
Further increases are expected this year, with Wizz Air, the second-largest carrier at the airport, announcing a new route to Ohrid in Macedonia from June.
The 13th new route to be confirmed from the airport for 2015 will follow the reinstatement of flights to Waterford from next month with a twice-daily service on weekdays by VLM.
The rise in demand is being met by £100 million transformation project that will increase annual capacity from 12 million to 18 million passengers by 2026.
Airport chief executive Nick Barton said: “2015 looks set to be a great year for London Luton. The airport’s easy access from London and its great value air services are just some of the reasons why passengers choose to fly from Luton, and I am confident that the redevelopment project will only strengthen our position as a leading airport serving London, Luton and the surrounding region.
